The Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren is a sports car and supercar automobile co-developed by DaimlerChrysler and McLaren Cars. It is the second-fastest automatic transmission car in the world, the first being the Bugatti Veyron. It is assembled at the McLaren Technology Centre in Woking, England. SLR stands for "super-leicht, Rennsport" (super-light, racing). The car's base price is €443,066 £300,000 or $450,000
